ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Irish Foster Care
Association (IFCA) as we commence our strategic planning for **Apply

foster care community in Ireland.
The IFCA Member Services and Events Assistant will assist the Manager
for Membership and Volunteers in the seamless delivery of IFCA’s
membership administration. They will also work with the IFCA Team to
assist in the effective co-ordination and administration of IFCA’s
events, projects and initiatives.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
MEMBER SERVICES
* Manage IFCA’s membership and insurance through the use of the
IFCA’s CRM system and keep same up to date, assisting and advising
members on the membership joining & renewing process.
* Regularly review membership statistics and compile reports.
* Assist in membership payment processes, answer queries and
troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Work closely with the Finance Office with regard to membership
payment requests.
EVENTS
* Work alongside the IFCA Administrator to set up and manage on-line
bookings for all IFCA events.
* Assist with the management and oversight of IFCA schedule of
events and contribute to event evaluation and identify service
improvement opportunities.
* Support the administration, planning and delivery of IFCA National
events.
COMMUNICATIONS
* Maintain the highest standard of communications with IFCA’s
membership, key stakeholders and partners.
* Work closely with the Member and Volunteer Manager, and wider team
to address and escalate membership, event and administrative matters
as required.
* Work closely with the membership & volunteer manager to support
membership and volunteer development and engagement.
GENERAL
* Reception duties when required.
* Respond to general enquiries to IFCA.
* Work collaboratively and effectively with the wider IFCA team on
various project as they arise.
* Contribute to and support IFCA’s ongoing service innovations and
organisational strategic development goals.
* Any other duties as may be required from time to time.
COMPETENCIES
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Excellent IT and communication technology skills.
* Ability to manage and prioritise tasks.
* Team player, with the ability to work in a small and dynamic team,
use initiative and be adept at building and maintaining a variety of
stakeholder relationships.
* Commitment to the mission and values of the Irish Foster Care
Association.
* Fluency in the English language, both written and oral.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience of event coordination and strong administrative skills.
* Experience of Microsoft packages with advanced CRM, spreadsheet
skills, and other productivity tools.
* Experience of supporting the work of multifunction team.
